Legal assistance
Liechtenstein is a signatory of the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters. After the reasonableness test, rogatory letters shall be addressed by the Ministry of Justice to the district court in Vaduz, which shall verify, whether and to what extent legal assistance shall be provided.
Legal assistance shall not be granted, if the request concerns infringements of regulations on duties, customs or foreign currencies.
